How It All Began

I picked up my first bow at the age of 4, and from that moment, something clicked. The feeling of focus, the precision required, and the satisfaction of hitting the target created an instant connection.

It's been a journey of discipline, self-discovery, and unshakable love for the game.

What started as a weekend activity in 2015, quickly grew into a passion. I knew I wanted to pursue seriously, the journey since then has been extraordinary.

The Coaches & Mentors

I’ve been fortunate to train under some of the most dedicated and inspiring archery coaches.

Crooked River Archery Club: This is where it all started and I truly fell in love with the process of archery.
Vaibhav Sahu: A coach who constantly challenged me to push my limits. He taught me to refine my form and understand the mental side of competition.
Richpal Salaria: (Subedar Major, Indian Army & International Coach) He prepared me for my first international competition and helped me to evolve from a national-level athlete to represent my country on the global stage.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve competed across cities, states, and borders facing new challenges with learning from every match and meeting some of the most inspiring athletes in the world. The pressure of competition, the joy of hitting the gold, the lessons in defeat they’ve all made me stronger, not just as an archer but as a person.

Looking Ahead: I’m training harder than ever, aiming higher, and staying grounded in the values that brought me here: passion, persistence, humility, and gratitude. With every arrow I shoot, I carry my dreams, my mentors’ wisdom, and my family's love toward a future I’m proud to keep building

Family Support

My Strongest Pillars : Behind every arrow I’ve shot is a mountain of support from my parents. From early morning drives to training grounds, emotional highs and lows after tournaments, and constant sacrifices. They've given me the freedom to dream and the strength to chase it. Without their belief in me, none of this journey would have been possible.

Special thanks to my sister Jaya Nalam, for supporting me in all the possible ways. She is also a national medalist.
